With over 100 staff spread throughout 5 Care Homes and a Domiciliary Care team, here at Anson Care Services we offer a wide range of careers for people of all ages.

Across all our homes in Redruth and Penzance, we have Care staff of all levels from aged 16 to our current oldest employee at 73, from those starting out in their Apprenticeships to experienced staff with specialist training in Dementia Care and qualified trainers.

Our maintenance team looks after all our premises with skills ranging from handyman to qualified professionals, and our Hotel Services department manages the kitchens, our internal laundry service, and event management. We have a full menu of chefs and cooks, along with cleaners, and activities co-ordinators.

It takes a whole team of people to ensure that our residents are safe and happy, and this page is updated regularly with our vacancies. If you are interested in joining us, you can view and apply for any jobs below and we will be in touch. If there are no suitable vacancies, we would still like to hear from you if you are interested in working in care.

Current Vacancies
All current vacancies are listed on the Anson Care Services page on the Indeed website and on the Proud to Care Cornwall website.

Applications from people outside the UK
Unfortunately we are not currently in a position to act upon unsolicited direct applications from individuals outside of the UK. Please do not apply for any of our vacancies if you are applying from outside the UK. We encourage all overseas applicants to contact their local recruitment specialist or employment consultants who will be able to manage the immigration process for care professionals looking to work in the UK on a Health and Care Worker visa.

Support for displaced International Workers
You are considered a displaced international recruit if you have received a letter from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) stating that your sponsor (employer) has had their licence revoked.

You may need to find another sponsor if you want to continue to work and stay in the UK.

If you need further information after you receive your letter, call the UKVI Contact Centre on 0300 790 6268 and choose option 2.

Lines are open:

  • Monday to Thursday (excluding bank holidays) 09.00 – 16.45
  • Friday (excluding bank holidays) 09.00 – 16.30

The Department for Health and Social Care have produced guidance to help international recruits looking for jobs in the UK’s social care sector.

You can also visit the South West Councils International Recruitment Health and Social Care Hub for more information.
